The Founder
Since 2004 I have had the privilege of serving private aviation clientele in a variety of roles working for brokers and operators large and small, building and selling a brokerage to starting a small private airline to Hawaii. Young Company Aero is the culmination of twenty years of charter service experience and a personal desire to create positive change through innovation.
Our Mission: To build an aviation consultancy covering the entire private aircraft ecosystem for individuals, family offices serving HNW clientele, business travelers, and international touring acts alike, and to do as conscientiously as possible. I am proud to say that our consultancy wing, YC Solutions, a specialized division of Young Company Aero, is working directly with talented change-makers to advance new electric and hydrogen technologies towards a zero-emission aviation future.
Coming from a background in music management, and an alternative fuel car start-up with a small A-list Hollywood clientele before aviation, one through line remained constant as a recipe for success; focus on serving your clients with meticulous attention to detail, always be an honest broker of information and learn to intuit their needs in anticipation of what coming next.

Our approach is to find the best jet, crew, and operation for your group's needs and tour itinerary, acting as your agent. The contract you sign is the operator contract and we take a fixed fee for our referral services, then work as your point person with the operator to ensure nothing is missed and your flight experiences are seamless.

How do carbon offsets work?
Each carbon offset represents independently verified reductions or avoidances of one metric ton of carbon dioxide (“mtCO2”).
One carbon offset equals the verified reduction of one metric ton of CO2. Typically people think of afforestation (growing a new forest) as a carbon offset project, but projects can be from hundreds of different approaches, most commonly renewable energy projects, industrial efficiencies, or improving access to clean cooking methods.
A carbon offset takes an inherently unprofitable action and sells off the emission reduction claims to a third party in order to get the project off the ground. Without carbon offsets, many new wind or solar farms would not be created.
One metric ton of CO2 reduced is one metric ton of CO2 reduced, no matter the source. But some reductions are easier to achieve than others, and this is where carbon offsets help play a major role. Reducing one metric ton of CO2 by displacing fossil-based electricity generation only costs a few dollars per metric ton, whereas reducing emissions from SAF will cost thousands of dollars for the same CO2 saving. So, offsets are an important mechanism for aligning decarbonization interest with ‘low-hanging fruit’ solutions.
Are Carbon Offsets Legitimate?
Yes, carbon offsets are a legitimate tool for accelerating global decarbonization.
Offsets have helped greatly accelerate new wind and solar projects, driving those technologies below cost parity with new fossil-based electricity in some countries.
Every offset has a serial number where you can look up public project design and verification documentation, as well as verify ownership of a particular credit. Credits go through multiple verification steps to ensure they actually occur and public registries with individual serial numbers prevent any double claiming of offsets.
Additionally, offsets will continue to play an important role in global regulation, they are used as a compliance mechanism with CORSIA and new EU regulations will likely allow some removal credits to be used under the EU ETS.
